Invisalign with Itero Smile Simulator: Transforming orthodontics.

Ready to align your smile with Invisalign?

At Smile Life Dental, we proudly introduce Invisalign with Itero Smile Simulator, revolutionizing orthodontic treatment. Patients experience a dynamic preview of their smile transformations, merging digital scanning with advanced simulation software. This personalized approach empowers patients to actively engage in treatment planning, fostering trust and satisfaction throughout their orthodontic journey.

Smile Life Dental embraces this transformative technology, ensuring optimal outcomes and redefining standards in orthodontic care.

Invisalign® treatment involves a series of custom-made trays of clear aligners, or “invisible braces”, that are changed frequently to move the teeth with absolute control and precision, resulting in straightened teeth.

Invisalign uses advanced 3D digital imaging software to accurately simulate your teeth movement from start to end, making treatment time much shorter, with most cases finishing within less than a year.

While its appearance is similar to plastic retainers, they are not the same thing. Invisalign’s patented Smart Track material is able to deliver constant light forces for up to 2 weeks, and Invisalign is built to withstand the oral environment and biting forces, whereas other materials can easily become deformed.

The iTero Smile Simulator is a dental technology that uses a 3D scanner to create a simulated model of a patient's teeth after Invisalign treatment. The iTero scanner is a wand-shaped camera that takes thousands of pictures of the mouth in seconds, which are then used to create a 3D model without the need for bite molds.

There is no age limitation for Invisalign treatment, so you can never be too old for it. Invisalign treatment is effective for both children and adults of all ages. In fact, Invisalign has gained worldwide popularity as a teeth straightening option due to the convenience and flexibility offered without the disruption of one’s daily activities.

Yes. We provide treatment for children as young as 8 years old, as long as your child’s teeth have developed to an appropriate stage. Invisalign treatment is just as safe and effective for children as it is for adults.

We will schedule a review appointment with you every 6 to 8 weeks to monitor your progress. If you are unable to come back within this period for review visits, please let us know in advance for us to make the necessary arrangements.

The total duration of Invisalign treatment depends on the complexity of your oral condition. Typically, the treatment process ranges from 9 to 18 months. Your dentist will be able to provide you with more details during your consultation.

What Invisalign Treatment Can Do

Invisalign has effectively addressed a wide array of dental issues, spanning from teeth overcrowding and underbites to jaw irregularities and misalignment. With Invisalign, we can swiftly assist you in achieving a radiant smile.

Spaced Teeth

If you have big gaps in your teeth (otherwise known as teeth spacing), food can get stuck, causing irritation, discomfort, and potentially gum disease. Invisalign can close those gaps for a healthier, happier smile.

Underbites

An underbite happens when your bottom teeth sit in front of your upper teeth. This can result in speech difficulties and increased wear and tear. Luckily, Invisalign can ride to the rescue. Invisalign can treat an underbite by forcing your bottom teeth back to their natural position behind your front teeth.

Crossbite

A crossbite is like a combination of an over and underbite. It’s when some of your top teeth sit inside your bottom teeth, and some sit outside. This can result in teeth chipping, wear and tear, and gum recession. The good news is that, as with other bite issues, Invisalign is effective at treating crossbites.

Overbite

The opposite of an underbite, an overbite is when your top teeth are too far in front of your bottom teeth. This can make biting and chewing difficult. Invisalign can fix an overbite by aligning your teeth correctly.

Overly Crowded Teeth

The opposite of spacing, teeth crowding happens when there isn’t enough room in your jaw for your teeth to fit naturally. This is typically an inherited issue and results in teeth overlapping teeth and discomfort when biting or chewing. Teeth crowding can also make it difficult to clean your teeth correctly and, in time, plaque and tartar can build up, leading to tooth decay and gum disease.

Fortunately, Invisalign can fix crowded teeth by pushing the teeth gradually into the correct alignment.

Advantages of Invisalign Over Braces

When weighing the various teeth straightening choices out there, Invisalign stands out as the option offering the utmost comfort and convenience, with minimal maintenance needed.

Continue Eating What You Love

Invisalign aligners are made with SmartTrack® flexible material, making it extremely easy to remove and put on, unlike braces which are fixed. Now, you can enjoy your favorite food any time you want to.

More Comfort, Less Pain

Without metal brackets raised in the mouth, Invisalign exerts gentler pressure as compared to braces. There is also no risk of getting your gums cut, as the Invisalign trays rub smoothly against your gums.

Better Oral Health

Without the existence of wires and brackets, Invisalign gives you the convenience of removing aligners so you may brush and floss normally.

Less Dental Visits

Unlike braces which require visiting your dentist every 3-4 weeks, Invisalign frees up your schedule with dental visits once every 6-8 weeks.

Virtually Invisible

Unlike traditional braces where wires and metal brackets can be seen, Invisalign is barely noticeable. This means you can always smile with confidence.

Predictable Treatment

Invisalign uses computer-generated imaging to create a personalized treatment plan, providing a clear timeline and expected outcomes.

Invisalign Treatment & Procedure

The Invisalign treatment process to straighten your teeth is simple, quick and effortless.

1. Consultation & Diagnosis

On your initial appointment, the dentist utilizes the iTero 3D Scanner to swiftly capture a digital impression of your teeth, allowing for a before-and-after simulation within minutes. This precise digital rendering guides the creation of a customized treatment plan tailored specifically to your needs.

2. Fitting of Invisalign Aligners

After your Invisalign Aligners are prepared, you'll be summoned for a follow-up dental appointment for fittings. During this visit, tiny tooth-colored attachments will be affixed to select teeth, serving as crucial grips facilitating precise tooth adjustment.

3. After Invisalign Treatment

Upon completing your Invisalign treatment, the maintenance of your newly aligned teeth requires a set of retainers. Your dentist will recommend the most suitable type of retainer tailored to your specific needs and situation.
